Globe Immigration Inc. is currently seeking skilled and experienced individuals to join their team by applying for the post of Social Media Content Specialist in the company. Requirements

Languages: Candidate must possess the knowledge of English Language

Education: Candidate should have at least a College education, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.

Experience: The candidate must be experienced in the field.

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate must be able to write clear, concise, and compelling content that will engage the readers. He/ she must also understand how to incorporate keywords in posts and leverage SEO tactics
  • The candidate must have an eye for design. He/ She must be able to design and create eye-catching visual content for the social media content
  • The candidate must understand how to communicate with different audiences. He/ she must know how to clearly and courteously communicate and reply to comments from customers, readers, or community members. He/ she must know how to be warm, friendly, and helpful while staying consistent with the brand voice
  • The candidate must have time management skills. He/ She must be able to post timely content
  • The candidate must understand how to leverage data to improve their content and unearth insights about their customers. He/ she must also understand how to leverage data to prove the Social ROI (Return on Investment) of the work he/ she is doing
  • The candidate must be experienced in using various social marketing analytics tools in combination with Google Analytics to have a great view of how their campaigns are performing
  • The candidate is required to stay updated about the latest social media tool updates, SEO trends, and algorithm changes. He/ she should also be open to improving their skills with additional training, boot camps, and online certification courses
  • The candidate must be able to think outside the box to create fresh and relevant content that can hardly be seen elsewhere

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to conduct competitive research, platform determination, messaging, and audience identification. He/ she should also be able to develop, implement and manage the brand’s social media strategy
  • The candidate should be able to plan, create, publish, and share new content (including texts, images, videos, and codes) on a daily basis to build meaningful customer connections, increase brand awareness, and persuade community members to engage with the brand
  • The candidate should be able to work hand in hand with sales and marketing teams to develop social media campaigns
  • The candidate should be able to keep him/ herself up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and technologies
  • The candidate should be able to  build and optimize company pages within each social media platform to increase the visibility of the brand’s social media content
  • The candidate should be able to  monitor SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and keep tabs on customer engagement and suggest tips relating to content optimization
  • The candidate should be able to  moderate user-generated content in line with the moderation policy of each social media platform
  • The candidate should be able to  cooperate and collaborate with sales, website design, website development, digital marketing, customer relations, and product development teams in working toward the brand’s goals
  • The candidate should be able to capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign. He/ she must be able to use the information to refine future campaigns
  • The candidate should be able to  work hand in hand with copywriters and designers to make sure the content is appealing and informative
  • The candidate should be able to  strengthen his/ her network by interacting with industry professionals and influencers through social media
