Job Overview

As a licensed optician at Roma Optical, you will be responsible for providing high-quality eye care services to our clients. You will work closely with optometrists and opticians to ensure our clients receive the best care.

You will be responsible for dispensing and fitting eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other optical devices, as well as providing advice and guidance to clients on the selection of eyewear that suits their need

Roles

1. Dispensing and fitting eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other optical devices
2. Provide advice and guidance to clients on the selection of eyewear that suits their needs
3. Manage and maintain accurate client records and assist with billing and insurance claims
4. Collaborate with optometrists and other team members to provide exceptional eye care services to clients
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment
6. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the optical industry

Requirements

1. Must be a licensed optician in good standing with the College of Opticians of Ontario
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
3. Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in the optical industry
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
7. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
8. Bilingualism (English and Italian) is an asset.

Job Summary

• Salary: 26.10 hourly 38 hours per week
